RACE NUMBERS (bib numbers)
All runs in the Pristina Marathon will use the chip timing system bib which is attached to the race number to record your race time. Your race number has important information, so it is very important to respect the rules regarding the race number. The race number with chip timing must be placed on the front of the trunk throughout the race so that you will be recognized by the officials on the race.
Only runners with bib numbers will be allowed to enter the start zone. When you cross the finish line, do not stop in this area for a long time, keep walking. If you need medical help seek help from volunteers.
Each participant must keep his or her race number at all time while on the running course,
• Do not exchange your race number with another participant,
• The race number should be clearly visible on the front of your T-shirt,
• Covering, cutting off the race number or deliberate alteration of any kind is prohibited,
• Removing the chip from the back of the race number is strictly prohibited,
• Do not damage or avoid the chip with your clamps,
• Coverage of the race number while in the race is strictly prohibited,


Security clips to set race number will be included in your package at registration. The race number is single use, meaning you do not need to return it after the race is finished.

Competition is conducted in accordance with IAAF / AIMS rules and the Kosovo Athletic Federation. Officials at start, finish and during the course of running will ensure that these rules are adhered to. There will be clearly visible signs alongside running course in every 2km for kilometers past, directions, as well as water stations and first aid.

The start of all competitions will be in front of the National Theater in Pristina.
The finish for all races will be at the same point as Start.
The start of the 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km race is at 9:00am.

There will be sufficient refreshments along the running course in each of the running disciplines. Refreshments will be located along the running course at 3.5-4.0 km intervals.
First Aid will be available at 5 locations along the course and doctors in cars will follow participants during the race. There will also be a medical team in the finish area.

Only persons 18 and older can participate in the Marathon race.
Only persons aged 16 and older can participate in the Half Marathon race.
Only persons aged 14 years and older can participate in the 10km race.
Only persons 12 years and older can take part in the 5km race.

– Marathon runners must cross the finish line within 6 hours and 45 minutes of the starting time of race,
– Half marathon runners must cross the finish line within 3 hours of the starting time of race,
– Runners of the 10km race must cross the finish line within 2 hours of the starting time of race.
– Runners of the 5km race must cross the finish line within 1 hour of the starting time of race.

All runners will leave the course after this time limit has past.

All races of Prishina Marathon will be broadcast live on our YouTube channel: Kosovo Athletic Federation, but also on Radio Television of Kosovo.

All participants in the 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km runs will receive a medal after crossing the finish line when they finish the race and the most successful will receive monetary prizes which are displayed on the awards page.
The three best male and female Kosovar runners in the 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km races will receive cash prizes if they reach a performance equal to 750 points from the latest edition of the IAAF Scoring table.
The award ceremony in the 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km disciplines will be held around 3:00pm (near the start of the race).

Results after the race is finished will be published online, at: http://prishtinamarathon.com/.
These are the preliminary results. If you find any mistake that is made let us know within 72 hours after the race by sending an email to info@prishtinamarathon.com. After this deadline the results will be official and cannot be changed.
